EARLY START LEARNING CENTER: The Westwood Early Start Learning Center was established in 1984. The Center specializes in the total development – spiritually, academically, socially, physically, etc. – of pre-school children ages 2-5. The Learning Center has a caring and qualified staff. The entire staff is dedicated to providing the best possible educational program for each child. The Center hours of operation are 7:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday thru Friday.
MUSIC MINISTRY: Welcome to the music ministry of Westwood Baptist Church. We hope you will use the gifts and talents God has given you to serve Him! We want to provide you with opportunities to join your voice with other believers in meaningful ministry. Whether through Echoes of Praise, Perfecting Praise, Men of Praise, or Voices of Praise, or through the congregation, we encourage you to take your place in the music ministry.
CHILDREN MINISTRY: Our children's ministry is made possible by dedicated parents and teachers who give of their time and talents to educate children about following Jesus. Sunday School is taught by trained teachers in a child-friendly atmosphere on Sunday mornings at 9:30 A.M. and during the week on Wednesdays at 6:30 P.M. We have classes for children 1 year old - 11 years old that use active learning to teach them Bible stories, God's love, and the need to follow God.
YOUTH MINISTRY: Is dedicated to the mission of developing and training the next generation of Christian leaders. The ministry is designed to ensure that 12-18 year olds are exposed to the foundations of the Christian faith in significant and dynamic ways. Through historic field trips, in-depth Bible study, community, and creative endeavors the students are engaged in the Gospel. Join us on our Facebook page at Westwood Youth Ministry.
MEN AND WOMEN MINISTRY: The men and women meet in their respective groups Wednesday night after the third Sunday at 6:30 P.M. The emphasis is to study the Word of God and apply it to our daily lives. In our groups we are able to discuss gender-specific issues engaging conversation through Bible study and worship, as well as through fellowship and hospitality events holding each other accountable to be better Christians.
