CEDRIC AARON

CEDRIC L. AARON hails from Lake City Florida, the fourth of five children, who were raised by a single mother in the admonition of the Lord. Minister Aaron left Lake City in 1984 after graduating from Columbia High School, to serve in the United States Army. Minister Aaron served his country faithfully for 15 years. He served in two combat tours In Operation Desert Storm and Operation Joint Endeavor. After much prayer and consideration, he made his home in Tennessee in 2006. 

 

In September 2006 he made Westwood Baptist Church University Center his church home. In March 2007 he accepted his calling to preach the Gospel and was licensed at Westwood..

 

He returned to school in 2012 and graduated from American Baptist College in 2015 Magna Cum Laude With a Bachelor's Degree in Bible and Theology. Minister Aaron  was recognized as Whose Who in  College and Universities in 2015. Minister Aaron continued his matriculation at Trevecca Nazarene University, where he received his Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership in Spring of 2017. 

 

Minister Aaron was ordained as a Minister of the Gospel in January 2018 at Westwood Baptist Church under Pastor Barton Elliot Harris. Minister Aaron serves as the Minister of Mission and Outreach, and the Senior’s Ministry at Westwood. He also serves as the President of the Greater Charlotte Hot Lunch Cooperative a coalition of 14 churches that feeds 215 senior citizens every weekday in the North Nashville Community. Minister Aaron is also a member of The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated. He lives by this motto, “If I can help somebody as I pass along life’s way, then my living shall not be in vain.”
